Congratulations you have made it to the special Project page
This page will provide information as to upcoming or recent
Science projects and links to student projects.
Currently the Garden Valley Science Department is doing many
computer probe software experiments. This experiments are being done
in all classes with various probe links for collecting data.
Probe types include light sensors, sound sensors, motion detectors,
force probes, electrical conductivity, temperature, pH, Pressure sensors,
and Oxygen sensors.
Students in Physics, Biology and Physical Science
will be required to write a term paper the first semester and
present a Power Point demonstration on their report.
Students in biology and Advance Science will be required to
make an insect collection in the second semester.
Radio Control Survey of Trout
Last Years Advance Science Class participated in a cooperative project with Idaho Fish
and Game and will be assisting in a study of Cutthroat Trout in Bear Valley.
We will help to monitor radio tagged trout and develop a web page to
show movements and information on this species.
This web page will be up and running by the end of October. You may reach this web
